About Us
A Childhood Shaped by Art and Exploration
From a young age, Alice Marsac was captivated by painting and drawing. At just 9 years old, she completed her first mural on the walls of her family home. Her artistic sensibility has been deeply influenced by her global travels, including formative years living in Florida and sailing across many of the world’s oceans with her parents. These experiences fueled her vibrant imagination and shaped her unique creative voice.
Education and Early Art Career
Alice pursued her passion for illustration at the prestigious Saint Luc School of Fine Arts, graduating in 2014. Her time there culminated in a self-portrait inspired by the surrealist painter Mati Klarwein. In 2018, she held her first solo exhibition in Brussels, marking the beginning of her professional career as an artist.
Expanding into Music and Creative Spaces
In addition to painting, Alice began exploring her talent in music, writing American rap in 2020. She debuted her performances in Amsterdam in 2021. After three years in Guadeloupe, where she renovated a 1970s villa into a vibrant, art-filled home, Alice resumed her visual art career, exhibiting her latest works for sale.
A Unique Artistic Vision
Alice’s artwork reflects her profound connection to nature and her bold, psychedelic style. Her murals, such as the fluorescent frescoes at Le Réservoir in Brussels, explore the intersection of women and wildlife, often conveying deeper environmental messages. Her vibrant scenes—where women and alligators coexist—challenge the way we view nature and humanity’s role within it.
"Let nature live, rather than reshape it in our image."
This philosophy drives Alice’s creative process, resulting in artworks that are both visually striking and thought-provoking. Her bold use of color and unapologetic themes make her pieces “explosive”—not in the sense of destruction, but in their ability to ignite conversations and leave lasting impressions.
A Versatile and Engaged Artist
Alice Marsac is not only a painter and illustrator but also a tattoo artist, though she keeps this talent reserved for close friends. A committed feminist and lifelong vegetarian, her values are as bold as her art. She channels her energy into creating work that challenges societal norms and celebrates the natural world.
The Future: Art with a Purpose
Today, Alice continues to explore her art with a vision of a more harmonious world, where nature is preserved and respected. Through her creations, she invites viewers to question their relationship with the environment, and through her bold feminist perspective, she imagines a world where women hold more power and agency.
“Being an artist is a constant search,” Alice says, summarizing her ongoing artistic journey. Her work is an expression of her many thoughts, feelings, and questions—always evolving, always seeking to connect with the world around her.
